Walkers frequenting Dore Kere, one among the oldest lake near Uttarahalli in south Bengaluru, have been bothered by a foul smell emanating from the water body for over a year now. Rampant dumping of garbage in certain parts of the lake spread over nearly 28 acres is to blame, they say.
